Are Netbooks The Same As Notebooks?
The notebook really has brought an amazing amount of freedom to people around the world and their growth has been huge. It has even amazed some of their biggest fans.
Today you cannot go into a coffee house in any city throughout the world without seeing people working on their notebooks.
There are a huge number of different brands including Sony, ACER, HP, lenovo, Samsung, Sony and Toshiba thought all make quality equipment.
However, we are now entering into a new stage of development. Notebooks have already been seen for some time as a legitimate replacement for desktop PC’s but we are now witnessing what are possible replacements, or at least substitutes for laptops coming onto the market.
This next stage is the stage of the netbook. these guys are very small laptops. At the moment for the average person they will represent a reduction in processing capabilities and memory but the still offer enough to be able to work and do it well.
The battery life is normally very good and they are much smaller and lighter than a regular lap top making them ultra portable.
The leader of the bunch right now is the Sony P-series. These are really quite incredible and a great insight into what is to come. They feature a full sized keyboard, yet weigh in at less the one kilo! The battery life is also very good and you can literally fit them in the pocket of your suit jacket.
